Magical Mayors Balcony Weddings!

If you've been dreaming about an intimate San Francisco City Hall wedding and you've been doing your research, then you've probably stumbled upon pictures of the famous Mayors Balcony where Marilyn Monroe wed Joe DiMaggio.

This stunning wedding venue can host one hundred guests standing, or up to forty guests with theater-style seating. No matter how many guests you invite, you'll be the stars of this show as you stand in front of the gilded railing and say your "I do's."

J and M hosted a lovely event for their friends and family and combined their session with a mini maternity shoot.

They wanted ample time and privacy for their couples session, a sit-down wedding ceremony, and a small reception with guests. One of the questions they asked me while we were in the planning phase was, "What's the best way to structure our wedding day?"

They met their photographer at noon for about forty minutes of photographs together and then we headed over to the Mayor's Balcony for their wedding ceremony. Their guests were already seated and ready to start the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we had a well-planned shot list to move through the family photos quickly and efficiently. The couple had a nice surprise for their guests and treated them to a beautiful boxed lunch picnic at Assembly, the new rock-and-roll-themed restaurant in front of SF City Hall!
